• Wow, so many people, so many great acts, so many laughs, so many miles away... Sorry to have missed The Real Raj and a great evening.

• Lots of very entertaining acts tonight and Coops as compere too, all of the usual high quality and providing a really warm and cuddly atmosphere. Thanks to all, especially Jake for my monthly bass slapping fix. Loved the song, what was it, sounded a bit like a Gil Scott-Heron? The Real Raj and Kelly were exquisite with a really beautifully textured sound, I love the cello nearly as much as Jake's bass. I'm also pretty fond of the accordion too, so lots of favourite instruments tonight. A top evening all round with the usual excellent sound from the "Hell hath no" himself.
